ReCall Alert- Tyson Chicken Nuggets

Check your freezers to make sure you don't have any of these recalled chicken nuggets.

Tyson Foods, Inc., is recalling about 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with pieces of rubber, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The problem was discovered after people who bought the nuggets complained about there being rubber pieces in the product.

The USDA said there have not been any confirmed reports of injury or illness from people who have eaten the nuggets, but anyone concerned about possible health effects after eating them should contact a healthcare provider.

The 5-pound plastic packages are labeled Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets and were produced Nov. 26, 2018 and have a "best if used by" date of “Nov. 26, 2019.

Anyone who has this item in their freezer should throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
